Here are some frequently asked questions about our court case with the Airport Authority.

What’s the status now? We’ve signed the settlement with the airport. One house is down, and another is slated to come down. They could put a fence up with a gate if they want to, so that’s a possibility, but it’s not required.

Does that mean we’re moving soon? No, since we have about three years before we have to move, our leadership teams and advisory council think it’s best to make the most out of that time here, saving money and becoming as strong and healthy as possible before we move.

Do we know where we’re going? No. A lot can happen in three years, so instead of trying to lock down a location now that may be completely wrong for us later, we are going to focus on growing you, the people, while still keeping an eye out for the right place. Ministry is really all about people anyway, not buildings. Jesus said our main focus should be helping people follow Christ.

So what should we be doing now? There are two very important things right now. 1) Pray for wisdom for our leaders. There are a lot of foundational decisions to be made, especially over the next several months. 2) Give toward our Future Facility Fund. Even if we found the right place today, it takes money to move. We’ll be receiving a special Future Fund offering at the end of each quarter that will go toward our overall plan for growth and relocation.
