Resources

What resources do you recommend for studying the Bible online?
There are several free resources available online. Here are some of our favorites:
  • youversion.com – includes free Bibles, notes editor, Bible reading plans, and community journaling feature to read what other people are learning; an iPhone app is also available
  • net.bible.org – home of the NET Bible, the version Pastor Daniel uses in his teaching
  • danielgoepfrich.com – Pastor Daniel writes and teaches through his blog
  • e-Sword – free Bible software for the PC and Pocket PC; there is also an online version
  • blueletterbible.org – more free Bibles and Bible study tools
  • carm.org – lots of questions and answers about the Bible, theology, and apologetics
What is Twitter? Why should I follow OTCC on Twitter?
Twitter is a free service that allows people to stay connected to each other by writing little posts about their lives 140 characters (or less) in each “tweet”.
Sometimes it’s hard to remember church announcements throughout the busy week, so OTCC uses Twitter to send reminders of upcoming events. We also tweet about special needs or prayer requests that need to go out in a hurry.

If you already have a Twitter account, just visit the OakTreeChurch profile and click “Follow”.

Or you can just bookmark our profile and check back regularly.

Find this week’s S.O.A.P. Bible readings on ourĀ S.O.A.P. page!
