Daniel Goepfrich – Lead Pastor / Teaching Pastor

I’m Daniel, and I’m the Lead Pastor at OTCC. I am primarily responsible for the overall leadership of the church and for the Bible teaching we do. My passion is teaching people God’s Word and seeing them experience the life change God wants for them.

Basic Stuff:

I grew up in South Bend and spent most of my life learning and serving at OTCC. Saralynn and I met during college, and we married in 1997 after I graduated with my degree in Pastoral Studies. We have four children – Nathan, Micah, David, and Rachael.

Even though I always thought it would be cool to pastor in the church where I was raised, I didn’t imagine that it might really happen. Yet on June 9, 2002, our congregation gave me the chance to lead in this role.

Teaching people God’s Word is my passion. I love to do this in large groups, small groups or classes, one-on-one, and through my writing. You can read me here:

Education: B.A. in Pastoral Studies from Faith Baptist Bible College (Ankeny, IA); currently working on Master of Theology (Th.M.) from Tyndale Theological Seminary (Ft. Worth, TX)
